Support and guidance will be available to you before, during and after your time of study. Our friendly, approachable staff can help you to identify and achieve your learning goals or support you through any challenges your learning may bring. Additional support can be provided if you have a particular learning or physical challenge.
Advice and Guidance
Advice & Guidance is available for all college learners.
Learners experiencing difficulties, whether of a personal or academic nature should contact, in the first instance, their class lecturer or programme tutor for help and advice.
Support is available from the College’s Guidance Team who can offer a wide range of information and support, staff will be available at each campus on a rotational basis. All enquiries are dealt with confidentially and individual interviews can be arranged by appointment. Impartial careers guidance is offered by qualified careers advisers.

As part of the Advice and Guidance Team at CBE, we provide a careers guidance service for all students.
We provide information, impartial guidance and advice to help students plan their careers. This includes advice on choosing the right course, applying to university, help with CV writing and job applications, and mock interviews. Assistance with searching and applying for part time work is also available.
