Researchers from the University of Rwanda,the Institut Superieur du Lac, DRC and University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, USA have been awarded at ELHRA R2HC research grant for working on Gender Based Violence through the project 'Evaluating the Psychological and social Impact by Promoting Positive Masculinity Through the Living Peace Program in RDC'.
The goal of the proposed work is to measure the impact of the Living Peace Program in North -and South -Kivu DRC on reduction of Gender Based Violence.

The orginizers are are inviting students in institutions of higher learning in Africa (Colleges/ Universities approved by their local commission of higher education) to submit their essays on the theme: "Role of Standardisation in Facilitating Human Rights with particular focus on the Rights of women" to their respective National Starndard Bodies (NSBs) email addresses.
