Biography :
Samuel Kamugisha is currently a PhD Candidate at Jönköping International Business School in Sweden. He is Lecturer at the, College of Business and Economics in the School of Business. He holds a Master of Business administration with a major in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the National University of Rwanda (currently University of Rwanda). Sam is broadly interested in strategy and entrepreneurship research with a keen interest in new venture emergence and creation, survival and growth processes especially in the context of developing economies.

From 2011 to 2013, Samuel served as the Coordinating Secretary for the MBA Program in the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Management of the former National University of Rwanda. He has participated in module development and he teach several modules/courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. At undergraduate level he teaches Organizational Strategy and Development, Organizational Theory and Behaviour, Strategic Human Resources Management, and at graduate level he has taught modules including Management and Leadership, Organizational Strategy and Change Management, and Organizational Behaviour and Communication.

Sam is an industrious, versatile and purpose driven scholar with dedication to business education and capacity building in the broad areas of strategy and entrepreneurship. He wishes to be part of the national, regional and global business decision making network that will challenge and determine how business develops and shape and advice the next generation of entrepreneurs or practioners, managers and policy makers.
